Twitter considered Elon Musk’s social media platform sued the state of California over a content moderation law. The requirement was to publish the policies for removing offensive material which can sound like a speech for hatred, wrong information, and harassment.
A year later the first-of-its-kind legislation was marked by Gavin Newsom, California Government. That lawsuit was filed against X Crop, state Attorney General Robert Bonta on Friday.
They have challenged the law of “constitutional and legal validity, which says that the First Amendment is violated.
The basic requirement of Assembly Bill 587 is to post the content moderation policies which are already done by them and two times a year submit a report on how they address the offensive posts like a speech for hatred, racism, wrong information, foreign political inference and all the other issues to the state.
