US President Joe Biden tests negative for COVID-19 and flies to India to attend G20 summit US President Joe Biden flew to India on Thursday (local time) to attend the 18th G20 summit of India to be held on September 9-10 at the world-class Bharat mandapam convention center at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. 

India and the US have a long-standing relationship, but after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the United States, the relationship has further strengthened. During his US State Visit, Prime Minister Modi addressed the joint Congress for the first time and signed several agreements to consolidate the defense, information technology, and aerospace relations between the two countries.

Biden’s schedule for the three-day visit begins on Friday. After leaving the US, Biden will make a short stopover in Germany’s Ramstein on Friday and then head to New Delhi on Saturday. On Saturday, Biden will attend a bilateral meeting with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to a White House press release.
